Hello.

This is Mackenzie and this is my substack where I WILL DO WHATEVER I WANT.

I could say that I’m a writer, or a diarist, or a former viral stuntress, or an artist- but I really don’t know if I identify with any of those terms, I’ve just always made whatever I’ve wanted, whenever I’ve wanted to and used the internet as a platform to share it.

Lately, I’ve found it difficult to feel free online. Instagram makes me feel ugly, TikTok makes me feel like my head is gonna implode, and Tumblr is basically an excavation site at this point. I’ve joined Substack to create a new outlet for myself to share my work and explore the internet creatively again.

I grew up on the Internet, and I still spend a lot of my time here, but sometimes I feel myself mourning the way that things were. The internet used to feel like an island; this is my attempt to get that feeling back.
